Happy "early" St. Patricks Day

This is a picture of my mint cookies and creme cupcake before I topped it with icing. I wanted to show how it was filled with a mint Oreo creme center that was made with the filling of an Oreo and some other special ingredients.

Country CupCakes March Newsletter

Welcome:
February ended with a bang! Country CupCakes baked over 200 cupcakes!

A little history:
During the month of February we had some birthday parties, Valentine events, and a wedding tasting to bake for. We are working on promoting the business, and excited for what is to come in 2011.

What sets us apart:
Our homemade vanilla is ready to use, and I already received 15 more Madagascar vanilla beans to start a new bottle of vanilla extract. We experimented with making our own marzipan to create a garden theme cupcake display. We continue to use as many fresh ingredients as we can. We make trips to Roots Market in Lancaster to get some of our ingredients to ensure freshness. We also made two new fillings this month; a fresh raspberry filling and a strawberry filling,

February Menu:
Mojito cupcake with a raspberry-lime cream cheese icing
Traditional Red velvet with cream cheese
Hazelnut cupcake with mascarpone
Devils Food with vanilla butter cream
Vanilla with vanilla butter cream
Raspberry champagne with champagne butter cream
Devils Food with peanut butter

On the menu for March:
We are looking to experiment with some new flavors to celebrate St Patrick’s Day (mint cookies n crème and a chocolate stout cupcake). It is not too late to put your order in for St. Patty’s Day!

A special thanks to my friends and family that support me by helping with the girls, sampling and ordering cupcakes!
